Jacinta LEMENN

As a child, my parents stimulated my creativity and let me express it through a variety of artistic pursuits, particularly through creative hobbies. Creating handmade jewelry has been a passion of mine since childhood. More specifically, making jewelry with beads.
I was able to learn to make bracelets, necklaces and earrings independently, thanks to technical books given to me by my family.
I was fascinated by the palette of colors offered by these little glass beads and by the possible combinations that could be used to create a harmonious and luminous piece of jewelry.

It was this multitude of colors and this luminosity that I later found in natural stones. It seemed then obvious to me to combine stones and beads in order to create jewelry that highlights their light, strength, and nobility.
So I started to learn, again from technical books, how to weave and embroider beads using thread and needle. Using the techniques I learned, I've been able to perfect my creations over the years and develop my own world.
A world that I want to be colorful, generous, unique and caring.

My background

In a former life I studied languages and international tourism, then I worked in the voluntary sector and finally in human resources. After realizing that working for a company no longer suited me, I reconnected with the voice/path of my heart in order to follow its aspiration, namely the creation and manufacture of jewelry. Having been making hand-woven jewelry for several years, I decided to set up my own brand as a micro-enterprise. Then, I decided to invest a little more time in my career change and to train for the CAP in jewelry making, to learn new techniques and open myself up to new creative possibilities.
